Agreement Helps Create a Social Presence for Brands While Increasing Revenue for Developers; Both Companies to Discuss Partnership at SWAT Summit

    SAN FRANCISCO (July 17, 2008) – Sometrics (http://www.sometrics.com) and appssavvy (http://www.appssavvy.com) today announced a partnership that will increase revenue for developers while helping advertisers build their brands and pinpoint their audiences within the social web.     
    Both companies will discuss the new partnership today at SWAT Summit in San Francisco. 
    By pairing appssavvy’s direct sales team with Sometrics’ social intelligence – which is a one-two combo of analytics and ad serving, both designed specifically for the social web – the two companies are making it easy for developers to share their audience demographic information to help brands more effectively find and reach their audiences within social networking communities.   
    Starting today, developers working with Sometrics can choose to share with appssavvy basic analytic information about who’s using their apps and how – including audience demographics, traffic, interests and actions within the social web.  appssavvy proactively seeks out advertisers who want to reach those audiences, significantly increasing a developer’s advertising revenue.   
    The process is entirely opt-in for Sometrics developers – each developer decides whether or not to share its demographic data with appssavvy.  The data is in the aggregate and remains anonymous – Sometrics never gathers personally identifiable information.
